We would like to inform you of a planned activity at the za-centurion-1 data centre. Please find details of this maintenance below:

Start date: 28/10/2025 09:00 AM GMT/UTC
End date: 28/10/2025 10:00 AM GMT/UTC

Affected data centres: za-centurion-1

Event Type: Site decommission

Description: The data centre and its resources will be permanently removed from the Cudo Compute platform. Any operations, chargeable or otherwise, will be destroyed and operations cannot be managed in this location after 28/10/2025.

NB! The location will be disabled for new rentals starting with 8/10/2025.

Risk: High. Please ensure you migrate or terminate your operations in this location to avoid loosing your data.

Action required: Migrate your operations to another location or terminate them in a controlled manner. We advise all users to ensure a backup of their virtual machines and data is taken prior to the maintenance window and on a regular basis.

Investigating - We are investigating an issue that is preventing the creation of new Virtual Machines (VMs). Any attempt to create a new VM is currently failing, with the status incorrectly showing as 'Unknown'.

All existing VMs are operating normally and are unaffected by this incident.

Our engineering team is actively working to resolve this provisioning issue and restore the ability to create new VMs as quickly as possible. We apologize for the disruption.

We will post an update as soon as we have more information.
